Tracee Ellis Ross turned She Wolf
If there were fewer famous faces at London Fashion Week than normal for autumn/winter 2025, Milan has done its best to make up for it. On Wednesday, creative director Francesco Risso tapped his long-time friend, Tracee Ellis Ross, to embody a “foxy wolf” at Marni – her first turn on the runway since she conquered the spring/summer 1991 Mugler catwalk with her mother Diana Ross. “He said the show is about the strength of the pack, which we all need now,” the Black-ish star told Vogue, with her “yellow, elegant, fun” dress making her feel like “a slinky, foxy, burst of sunshine”. Note, too, the paintings on Risso’s bright, delightfully brash designs: the work of Nigerian artists Slawn and Soldier, whose exhibition, The Pink Sun, opens at Francesco’s Milanese palazzo this month in collaboration with Saatchi Yates. – HM

“It’s not a bag, it’s a Baguette”
Carrie Bradshaw, as a rule, does not do well in Europe, but Sarah Jessica Parker apparently does just fine, clutching her Baguette on the front row at Fendi’s 100th-anniversary show on Wednesday. Held at the brand’s Via Andrea Solari HQ, the presentation featured a string of famous – if less expected – models, from Adriana Lima to Penelope Tree to Rosemary Ferguson. Fendi may be down a creative director since Kim Jones’s departure in October, but Silvia Venturini Fendi still marked the house’s centenary in style. – HM
