Never one to shy away from a full circle moment, Berry referenced herself last year, revisiting her legendary Oscars gown for a surprise appearance at Elie Saab’s star-studded show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. And at the 2025 Oscars ceremony, Halle showed she’s still a headline-maker – with the outfits to prove it.
She made waves on the carpet in a“broken mirror’ gown by Christian Siriano, which she later switched out for a similarly shimmering Georges Chakra after-party dress. Berry sent social media into a frenzy at the ceremony itself, after recreating one of her most talked-about Oscars moments – the infamous kiss with Adrien Brody. Back in 2003, when the actor won his first Oscar for The Pianist, it was Halle who presented him with the award, a moment that prompted him to grab the baffled star for a surprise (and extremely enthusiastic) peck.
